DTJ Voice & Data have completed several projects for Beever and Struthers ranging from small jobs to large and somewhat difficult projects. BAck in April 2002 they installed all the network communications and telecommunications for our new building and had the difficult task of re-cabling our existing older building (often cables had been cemented-in in places) and they have also over the years installed additional points at very competitive costs. A most recent test of their abilities was to raise an eight for communications cabinet containing fibre optic links, telecommunications hardware, hubs and routers etc - therefore weighing some considerable amount, off the floor - whilst a new surface was laid, without any slightest disruption to services. After some thought, they came up with a solution and carried out the task with considerable speed and precision. This cabinet has been suspended from the ceiling for several weeks and is still secure! Just over a year ago major expansion work was carried out as business was improving. DTJ Voice & Data came on site and tested all the network points with specialised equipment. They were able to pinpoint the problem cables and give me a detailed explanation of the problem and solutions. DTJ Voice & Data worked with the contractors and installed new cables and network equipment, which included new switches and a fibre optic cable to connect our main patch panels to new panels in the new extension area. I can honestly say since the work has been carried out I have experienced no problems relating to cabling etc and the fibre connection allows me to add new workstations to the extension are by simply connecting to a free port in the new patch panel. Because the work was carried out to a high standard I am now able to concentrate on other projects and more importantly production can carry on reliably.
