Flint Glass Works is an office premises converted from an old industrial building in the Ancoats area of Manchester. DTJ Electrical Ltd. has worked at Flint Glass Works in stages as the building has gradually been converted into high spec office areas. Additions and alterations to the existing electrical supply and lighting were provided to the ground floor with all new electrical and lighting to the first and second floor areas as indicated below: · Suspended strip lighting to the 2nd floor. · Surface mounted Cat 2 lighting units to 1st & 2nd floor. · Installation of 3 way Dado and Skirting Trunking to 1st &_ 2nd   floor. · External flood lighting. · Electrical supply for air conditioning. · Cat5e network cabling. The office areas created are a new modern look within a traditional industrial period building which by its nature provided quite a few problems in being able to integrate modern components into an old environment, particularly when trying to fix straight trunking against not so straight walls, floors and ceilings! Despite this an extremely satisfactory finish was attained as can be seen in the provided images.
